Accessibility Services

The Office of Accessibility Services at Lubbock Christian University is committed to assisting students with various types of disabilities in acquiring appropriate academic accommodations. Formerly known as the Office of Disabilty Services, our desire is to help you reach your full potential—regardless of any physical, learning, psychological, psychiatric, or other disability you may have.

Requesting Accommodations

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 mandates equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in all public facilities, programs, activities, services, and benefits derived from them. Both ADA and Section 504 are civil rights statutes that prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability, and obligate colleges and universities to make certain reasonable adjustments and accommodations, and offer to persons with disabilities the opportunity to participate fully in all institutional programs and activities.
