Functional Title: Administrative Assistant
Classification:  Salary position; exempt
Department: Provost
Reports to: Provost and Chief Academic Officer
Primary Function: Provides administrative support to the Provost, produce and maintain faculty contracts and faculty credentials

Major of Duties:

  • Assist the provost in day to day operations
  • Coordinate faculty contracts
  • Coordinate faculty credential folders
  • Coordinate faculty evaluations
  • Maintain budgets
  • Record meeting minutes
  • Process check requests
  • Office duties; scheduling appointments; office correspondence; answering and directing phone calls; sorting and distribution of office mail; ordering and stocking office supplies.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be ambulatory around campus and in buildings. 
  • Regularly required to sit and stand sporadically.
  • Frequently use wrist, hands and/or fingers to make small repetitive movements such as distributing mail and picking up small objects.
  • Ability to talk frequently to convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, and clearly.
  • Be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive verbal information.
  • Required to lift packages and/or move heavy objects, 25+lbs.
