Functional Faculty Title:  Faculty Position – Information Systems Technology

Primary Function:  Teaching

Major Responsibilities:  As Program Coordinator for IST and ISM, responsibilities will include leading the programs, designing curriculum, and performing program assessment. As a faculty member, the Program Coordinator will also teach lower and upper division courses, advise and mentor students, serve on departmental and university committees, and manage other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: 

  • An advanced degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field that aligns with program offerings; a Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree); a willingness to uphold the values of the university; and a committed membership in the church of Christ.
  • Previous teaching experience, particularly at the university level.
