Jason Witten, former Dallas Cowboy, visited Midland May 8 for Winning with Character, hosted by Lubbock Christian University. He was joined by former Dallas Cowboy, Ryan Young, to discuss what it means to win with character both on and off the field. The evening included a VIP reception, dinner, auction, and presentation.
Jason Witten retired from the Dallas Cowboys after 15 seasons as a tight end only a week before the event in Midland. He ranks second in all-time career receptions and receiving yard by an NFL tight end. In addition to the discussion of character, audience gained insight into the reflections Young and Witten had to offer about their experiences playing in the NFL.
Witten also sat down with President Tim Perrin for Chap Chat, periodic conversations with LCU guests that cover four questions with answers full of inspiration, hope, and life.
