Lady Chaps Win Semifinal, Advance to NCAA Div. II National Championship

The Lady Chaps defeated Bentley 67-57 in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Final Four and will advance to the National Championship in Indianapolis on Monday, April 4 at 2 p.m. CDT. Their opponents in the championship game, the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves, advanced after a 20 point win over GVSU in the semifinals.

The Lady Chaps are now 34-0 and pursuing a perfect season in the championship. Here is a full recap of the LCU vs. Bentley semifinal. You can also watch the post game press conference on the NCAADivisionII YouTube Channel.

LCU Travels is coordinating a trip to Indianapolis from Saturday, April 2 to Thursday, April 7 to support the Lady Chaps in the championship game. RSVP by March 29 at 5 p.m. to travel with LCU. Additional details on the trip can be found in this flyer.

There will also be a championship watch party in the Rip Griffin Center on LCU campus. The watch party is open to the public. Doors at the south entrance open at 1 p.m. before the game begins at 2 p.m. CDT. Free food, snacks, and drinks will be available beginning at 1:30. There will also be t-shirts and door prizes available. Wear blue and join us to cheer on the Lady Chaps as they compete for the championship!
