A resource for information on educational institutions by state, Affordable Colleges based their ranking on a balance of “academic rigor, student support, and affordability.” Institutions were judged by general criteria, including up-to-date accreditation, and scored by other factors, such as student-to-faculty ratio, number of programs offered, and rate of graduation.

LCU ranked above neighboring university Texas Tech (16) and other notable universities, such as West Texas A&M (24) and the University of North Texas (40).

“Lubbock Christian University’s online programs, inspired, built and taught by talented faculty, are challenging and comprehensive,” said Bill Kopf, director of distance learning. The professors are dedicated to their students and I believe that the online community that grows around the students is memorable. Much more, the full-time and adjunct faculty give students the rich and meaningful knowledge and experiences that allow them to succeed at and beyond LCU.”
