On Nov. 10, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce hosted an awards banquet honoring the recipients of the 2016 Top 20 Under 40 Award.
The award acknowledges 20 young professional winners who notably demonstrate leadership in their field and actively serve in the community. Recipients are chosen by a panel of judges after a period of nomination submissions.
Three Lubbock Christian University alumni and former students were named award winners this year: Elaina Albarez (’05), Drew Gray (’13), and Kristin (Johnson) Murray.
- Elaina Albarez (pictured above) graduated from LCU in 2005 with a bachelor of social work. She currently works as the Director of Workforce Development at Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas.
- Drew Gray (pictured below, left) graduated from LCU in 2013 with a B.B.A. in finance. Now he works with employment in Multifamily Acquisitions at Stellar Family of Companies. He also currently serves on the LCU Business Advisory Board.
- Kristin (Johnson) Murray (pictured below, right) attended LCU in 2012 and is now the Director of Human Resources at Arbor Hotels.
LCU congratulates the 20 Under 40 recipients and is proud of our alumni and former students for making a difference in the Lubbock community.
