LCU Advantage is a program that helps college graduates repay their student loans. Available to all incoming full-time LCU freshmen in fall 2019, it provides a financial assurance that helps students focus on their academics while in school and, if a student's income after graduation is modest, helps graduates repay their loans.
Lubbock Christian University wants to help you pursue your personal and professional ambitions without stressing about debt. This financial assurance is called LCU Advantage. LCU is the only school in Texas to offer a loan repayment assistance program (LRAP) like this to all incoming freshmen, starting in the fall of 2019. After you graduate with your bachelor’s degree, you can begin your career with peace of mind.
You pay nothing. If your income after graduation is less than $43,000, LCU Advantage can help repay your educational loans. Assistance is provided via quarterly reimbursements on your federal, private, and parent PLUS loans, and continues until your income surpasses $43,000, or your loans are repaid entirely.
