Be Welcomed.

When you come on campus or interact with a member of the LCU community, we hope that you feel welcomed. It is our hope that the same welcoming spirit you experienced as a student will be felt as an alumni no matter where you are.

Join Us at an Event

Over the year, the Office of Alumni Relations hosts or is present at several annual LCU events. We also host events around the nation for alums all over. Below are just a few of the regular events open to alumni; plan on attending one of these events or click here for a link to our alumni calendar with even more events and programs you can link up with us at.

  • Homecoming - Held every spring semester, homecoming is one of our biggest events. This past year, nearly 900 alumni from every decade gathered on campus to catch up, reconnect, and celebrate our heritage. From decade and department reunions to social club breakfast and Master Follies, there is something to do for the whole family all weekend long.
  • Family Weekend - Join parents and alumni on campus in the fall semester for our "open house." Take a tour of our ever-expanding campus or take in a musical in the McDonald Moody auditorium. You and your family will not want to miss this activity-filled weekend.
  • Ring Ceremony - Held in both the Spring and Fall semesters, the Ring Ceremony commemorates the most recent recipients of the LCU ring. Steeped in tradition, the Ring Ceremony christens our symbol of the ring for God's providence and care over each of our graduates, students, and alumni.

Celebrate an Enduring Heritage

The LCU ring is the official ring of LCU grads and alums. The ring commemorates God's protection, provision, and care over each graduate and alum both while at LCU and post-graduation. No matter where you may be, the ring will identify you as an LCU alum and a member of our heritage.

Features of the LCU Ring include:

  • A cross, representing the central, unifying foundation of our university and our community.
  • The "LCC" and "LCU" symbols, representing the school's transition from LCC to LCU.
  • The traditional brick pattern, common to the buildings throughout campus.
  • One of LCU's most prominent buildings, the Christian Development Center, and the name "CHAPS" which celebrates our school's mascot.

The ring is available to those students or alumni with 60 credit hours or more. To learn more about the ring program or to place an order, contact the Office of Alumni Relations by email (, by phone (806.720.7218), or by visiting
