Biggest Challenge/Greatest Achievement: This is my 22nd year in public education, and I have served as a school Superintendent for the past eleven years. I am currently working on completing my doctorate in Educational Leadership through Lamar University. I have also been involved in the past several years with The Sudan Project, helping to start the South Sudan Bible School, a preacher training school in Pajok, South Sudan, the newest country in the world. I have been blessed to travel to Africa now on multiple occasions to work with schools and churches, and to help with other humanitarian efforts there. Most importantly, I've also really enjoyed being a dad to my four kids.

LCU Memory: I have great memories and lifelong friends from LCU, and particularly from my time in Alpha Chi, Meistersingers, and Best Friends. Best of all, I met my wife and lifelong best friend at LCU.

  • Madeline (sophomore at Era HS)
  • Abigail (freshman at Era HS)

Interests: Athletics / personal fitness, interior decorating, traveling

Biggest Challenge/Greatest Achievement: My biggest challenges are in trying to reach a new generation of young adults, particularly the young women that I coach and teach, and to instill in them a sense of worth and purpose. My mission field is the school system, and I work within the disciplines of athletics to teach kids how to persevere through struggles and to focus on service to others. My greatest achievement is being a mother to my own four children, and trying to raise them to be Godly young men and women.

LCU Memory:  Being a part of Kappa Phi Kappa, particularly in intramurals and MasterFollies.
