Matthew Sickon comes to LCU as an adjunct instructor in American Sign Language. He was born Deaf, and has been helping with teaching ASL for roughly four years in one to one settings. He now also teaches ASL as an adjunct instructor at Texas Tech University. He has been involved with the Deaf Ministry at Sunset Church of Christ. He now works full-time with the International Service Center as a Deaf Group Trainer.
He has graduated from George Washington University with MA in Public Policy, and a BS in Criminal Justice from Rochester Institute of Technology. He moved to Lubbock to attend Sunset International Bible Institute to obtain a second BA degree, this time in BA in Theology.
