Lamar Reinsch entered LCU (then LCC) as a first year student in 1965, graduating in 1967. He returned 50 years later in 2015 with the goal of helping today’s students just as LCU had helped him. Lamar earned graduate degrees from Central Michigan University and the University of Kansas. During a long academic career, he held faculty positions at Western Illinois University, Oklahoma State University, Abilene Christian University, and Georgetown University—serving in a variety of administrative positions and earning tenure at three different schools. Lamar is a past president of the international Association for Business Communication, and a past editor of the International Journal of Business Communication. His research has been published in a variety of academic periodicals including Communication Monographs, Human Communication Research, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Academy of Management Review, International Journal of Business Communication, and the Journal of Business and Technical Communication.
