About Beth

I am married to a wonderful guy, Dr. Chris Hennington, an assistant professor in the Behavioral Sciences Department. We have two beautiful children, Emma and Alex. I love tackling various artistic ventures and playing with my children in my spare time.

What are your areas of scholarship experience?

� Teaching and assessing children and adolescents that experience problems in their physical, cognitive and social-emotional development
� Curriculum development specialist in higher education
� Consultation with online universities in the development of comprehensive assessments for their students in higher education in the areas of early childhood, teacher education and special education
� Developing training modules over learning disabilities (Project IDEAL) and autism (Burkhart Project)

Why should students choose LCU?
Some people have the misunderstanding that a private school is elitist and unattainable. LCU is very comparable financially when compared to other public and private universities in the area. We have a diverse population and support the endeavors of each other. Class sizes are small and the attention of professors is easily obtained by students.
Lubbock Christian is a special place to be. The faculty and staff want to see the students succeed and accomplish their place in God's plan. Students care about each other. The atmosphere is genuine and students know they are important in the larger plan of life.
