Dr. Beth Hennington completed her BS in Elementary Education at the University of Central Arkansas, Master’s in Special Education, Ed.D. in Special Education and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling. Dr. Beth Hennington is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and a Certified Educational Diagnostician. She is dedicated to helping develop competent, professional counselors for schools and communities. She has worked with Women’s Protective Services, Family Counseling Services, and Roosevelt ISD. Dr. Hennington has volunteered to assist Clay therapy at LHUCA and Grief Group therapy at Greenlawn Church of Christ. She is currently working on developing her private practice.
She has previously worked as a consultant for Wiley Global Education, and a content expert for Western Governor’s University. She was director of the Educational Diagnostician Program at West Texas A&M University, curriculum developer of the WTAMU Learning Disabilities Center and as an Educational Diagnostician for Richard Milburn Academy. Dr. Hennington currently serves LCU as an associate professor of Psychology and Counseling. Her research interests include distance education and assessment.
