I originally came to LCC in 1974, and returned much later in 1997 after having been a stay at home mom for 10 years. I completed my degree from LCU with a teen and pre-teen still at home.
Both of our children have since come through LCU with David and his wife Tiffany completing their degrees in Finance and Biology, respectively, in 2006; and Marisa and her husband, Thomas, completed their degrees in Animal Science and Business Admin./Visual Communication.
I have been on the Executive Board of the Associates of LCU for several years and have enjoyed being a part of an organization that chooses to raise money for the success of the students at LCU. I have also served on the Steering Committee for Focus Lubbock, a "Lubbock" experience for University students, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. One of my highlights during my time at LCU has been the opportunity to begin the Staff Senate in 2000. I serve as Secretary for TCTCT, a State organization for Teacher Education testing Professionals; and am a member of TACO, Texas Association of Certification Officers. I am currently serving on LCU’s Vision 20/20 Campaign as a Section Chair
