About Will

Dr. Crescioni received his PhD in Social Psychology from Florida State University, where he worked with Dr. Roy Baumeister and Dr. Joyce Ehrlinger. Dr. Crescioni's research focuses primarily on the effects of believing in free will, the determinants and effects of believing that life has meaning, and on the human capacity for self-regulation. He has published papers in the Journal of Health Psychology, the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and Neuroethics, and is the author of book chapters on meaning in life and social rejection.

Dr. Crescioni has also engaged in extensive mentorship of undergraduate researchers, and has helped many of his students gain acceptance to graduate programs in fields such as social work, counseling, and experimental psychology.
