Graduate School and Career Paths

Humanities students have specialized in diverse areas from across the Arts and Sciences curriculum, such as business, Spanish, and communication, in addition to pre-professional programs for chiropractic, speech therapy, and law schools.

Students who major in humanities have gone on to work in fields like public relations, city government, and teaching. One former student, for instance, is now in graduate school in New York studying art history, while another is working as a curriculum editor for the Continuing Ed. program at Texas Tech, and still another got a job right after graduation in public relations for the Texas Rangers.
