Job Description: SUMMARY:
Pool Managers are responsible for overseeing all daily operations and maintains City pools. These responsibilities include completing daily administrative paperwork, strict monitoring of patrons and pool personnel, conducting hourly facility safety checks and chemical logs, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Enforce safety policies in the pool area in order to provide a safe atmosphere for all guests and staff members. Includes monitoring the number and actions of guests;
Perform administrative work including scheduling lifeguards, completing paperwork, and depositing monies received for the day;
Keep the pool and pool area clean by checking chemical levels in the pool and removing objects in or around the pool which may create danger;
Perform related duties as required.
Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of high school diploma or education and experience that provides the following:
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid required. These certifications must be obtained prior to being hired. Expired certifications greater than one year do not qualify.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Water chemistry and facilities management.
Supervise the work of lifeguards;
Organize and manage special activities;
Communicate effectively with others
Frequently stand, kneel and walk during shift
Occasionally bend during shift
Push and pull objects in order to clean pool
Occasionally push and pull objects in order to clean pool
Occasionally flex upper trunk forward and at the waist and partially flexing of knees
Frequently rotate upper trunk to the right or left while sitting or standing
Place arms above, at or below shoulder height
