Do This In Remembrance of Me: Forming Disciples Through Shared Memory

October 3-4, 2016

As an extension of LCU’s celebration of its 60th anniversary, we are dedicating this year’s Moser Ministry Conference to the importance of memory for the formation of Christian identity. The Christian faith is fundamentally a historic faith, which gives a central place to the role of memory. The practice of memory is all the more important to consider as our host culture adopts an increasingly non-narrative structure of reality. In celebration of LCU’s 60th anniversary, our presenters will be LCU alumni. They will guide our gathered reflection around various shared practices of memory that can serve to facilitate identity formation among disciples of Jesus Christ.
