The Fullness of God’s Mission: #HereandThere #WordandDeed

October 5-6, 2015

  • Should our missional focus be more local or more global?
  • Should we be focused more on proclaiming the gospel with words or with works of mercy and social justice?
  • How can our congregation enhance its participation in the mission of God in the world?
  • How can we foster a more mission oriented church culture?

If your congregation has wrestled with these and similar questions, we invite you to join us for this year’s Moser Ministry Conference.

We need your perspective and insight in these conversations! How does your congregation deal with these issues? What gifts does your church have to offer the rest of us as we deliberate prayerfully together about how to engage God’s mission in the world? What questions do you have that could help propel our common discernment?

This year will be a bit different from previous years. Rather than bringing in a couple of keynote speakers, we will be hearing from a variety of more local voices who will be addressing different aspects of how we can participate in God’s mission in the world. There will also be ample time for discussion so that we can glean helpful ideas from each other and even further strengthen our relationships.

A full schedule will be published soon. For your planning purposes, on Monday, the conference will run from 9:00-3:30, and the dinner/discussion panel is slated for 6:00-8:00. On Tuesday, the conference will run from 9:00-12:00.

We are happy to announce that we are reducing the cost of the conference this year. We hope this cost reduction will make it feasible for more church leaders to be able to attend the conference.
