We are so pleased that you are considering a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Technology (IST). You are going to be pleased with the variety of courses available to you.

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology degree is one of the newest on campus. It is a non-business degree and an enhancement of the previous Computer Information Systems program.

This program is unique because it allows 19 hours of electives. A beginning freshman will be able to explore other departments on campus, take a minor in another field, or take more IST or Digital Media Arts courses. Students will be able to transfer in more credit hours.

Occupation opportunities for people with this major include Networking, Network Administration, Web Design, Database Administration, the FBI, Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Help Desk and many others.

Our faculty members are passionate about their subjects and are willing to listen to and help students any time. We serve as mentors as well as advisors.
