Big Blue Basketball Band

The Big Blue Basketball Band is a selective ensemble that provides additional performance opportunities for LCU’s advanced wind and rhythm section players. Directed by Dr. Lisa Tatum, the basketball band performs at selected home games for the LCU Chaps and Lady Chaps, as well as Heartland Conference and NCAA tournament games. Band members earn monetary compensation for participation.

Auditions and rehearsals for the Big Blue Basketball Band typically take place during the first week of November. Any student interested in joining the Big Blue Basketball Band should email Dr. Tatum directly.
