Music Education Degree

When added to the B.A. degree, the all-level teaching certificate qualifies the graduate to teach music for grades K-12 in Texas public schools, private schools, or in a private studio. Required courses in the School of Education with a semester of clinical teaching in area public schools give graduates a strong basis for a career as a music educator for elementary music as well as for middle school or high school choir or band.
