The mission of the LCU Department of Public Safety is to provide a secure and safe environment that allows students, visitors, faculty, and staff to realize their full potential while supporting the mission of the university.

Reporting a Crime
All members of the LCU community including students, faculty, staff and visitors are encouraged to report all crimes and suspicious incidents to the LCU Department of Public Safety in a timely manner. Crimes should always be reported to the LCU Department of Public Safety to ensure inclusion in the annual Campus Crime Report, statistics, and to aid LCU Department of Public Safety in providing timely warning information to the campus community when appropriate.
