Center for Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Faculty Development Grants

The purpose of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (CTLS) is to promote and sustain academic excellence on the Lubbock Christian University campus through ongoing support for faculty and staff at all stages of their career related to teaching, learning, and scholarship.

The CTLS Faculty Development Grants are intended to provide financial support for full-time faculty in a variety of ways including the purchase of materials or resources, as well as funding for conference attendance and presentations.

  • Recipients of these awards will be asked to share their experiences with other faculty through break-out sessions at faculty conferences, semi-annual lunch and learns, or other selected venues.
  • Proposals are due on or before April 29th
  • Electronic submissions only

Materials Grants

This grant provides funding needed to purchase materials or resources that support scholarly activities up to $750.00 per grant.

Travel Grants

Travel grants are awarded to cover expenses associated with conference attendance including registration fees, travel, meals, and lodging up to $750.00 per grant for attendance only and $1,200.00 per grant for presenting at a conference.
