Primary Function: Enrollment – Admissions Advisor for Adult Degree Completion Online programs.

Join us at Lubbock Christian University in a career that helps Adult Learners succeed by completing what they have started.  We are looking for a motivated Admissions Advisor to oversee the admission process for Adult Learners seeking to return to college and complete their degree online.

Major Duties:

As an Admissions Advisor for Adult Online Degree Completion, a typical week might include the following:

  • Strategy, Execution & Hustle. You will build awareness of our online degree completion programs and drive inquiry generation through a variety of mediums. You will foster high impact partnerships in your territory and execute on your daily work through informational presentations, calls, texts, and emails.
  • Support and empower. You will use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional service to prospective students. Whether in-person, over the phone or thru text and email, you will advance the LCU mission, promoting Lubbock Christian University student success and institutional growth.
  • Vision Cast. This role has aggressive enrollment targets. You will use your communication skills to create a compelling and inspiring picture of career advancement with the completion of a degree.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • High motivation to help people and honor God. Everything you do, you do with a spirit and willingness to serve. You take ownership of your time, and you are the first to volunteer without waiting to be asked.
  • Outstanding time management skills. In this role, you will wear many hats, so you will need to demonstrate that you have developed your time management skills and that you know how to prioritize competing priorities.
  • Clear communication skills. You can effectively explain just about anything to anyone and love communicating in-person, in writing and on the phone.
  • Active listening skills and emotional intelligence. You listen with the intent to understand. You focus not just on words, but on non-verbal cues like tone and body language. In this role, you will be helping a diverse range of students with unique circumstances. The ability to demonstrate empathy is key to success in this role.
  • Self-motivation to learn & implement. You are highly motivated to learn and improve. You welcome coaching and strategy.
  • Computer literacy. We rely on a number of digital resources and tools to help you execute your work and keep you accountable.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Demonstrated Sales Success.
  • Experience working with CRM tools preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to do the following:

  • Be ambulatory around campus and in buildings.
  • Required to regularly sit and stand.
  • Frequently use wrist, hands and/or fingers to make small repetitive movements such as typing, distributing mail and picking up small objects.
  • Ability to talk frequently to convey detailed and/or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive verbal information.
  • Required to lift packages and/or move heavy objects, 25+lbs.
