Lubbock Christian University announced the names of LCU students named to Who’s Who Among Students in America’s Universities and Colleges for 2015 during its Apr. 9 chapel ceremony. The university is allowed a specific number of nominees, but saw a record number of 125 students on the list this year.
Who’s Who obtains the names of high-achieving students and publishes their names annually. Being named to the Who’s Who listing is recognized as a significant achievement nationwide in graduate school applications, employment applications, and portfolios.
To be considered for this achievement, students are selected on criteria based on academic achievement, citizenship, and leadership ability. Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, must be junior or senior level, and must be nominated by a faculty member.
