Lubbock Christian University Announces Community Partner of the Year 

Lubbock Christian University (LCU) proudly announces Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage as the recipient of the 2025 Community Partner of the Year Award, and Dave & Buster’s as the Community Partner Newcomer of the Year.

Lubbock Christian University (LCU) proudly announces Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage as the recipient of the 2025 Community Partner of the Year Award, and Dave & Buster’s as the Community Partner Newcomer of the Year. The winners were announced at a lunch recently on the LCU campus.

These honors are part of LCU’s Community Partners program, an initiative designed to build and strengthen relationships between the university and local businesses. Through this program, over 100 businesses have committed to partnering with LCU in mutually beneficial ways that enhance community engagement, support student success, and open doors for future collaboration.

Josh Clem, LCU Vice President for Advancement, stated, “We are so thankful for our LCU Community Partners! These relationships are invaluable to this incredible community we serve.”

As Community Partner of the Year, LCU recognizes Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage for their ongoing commitment to the university’s mission and community goals. Their partnership has served as a model for impactful local collaboration.

Postar responded, “At Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage, we believe that strong communities are built through service, integrity, and lasting partnerships. Being named Community Partner of the Year by Lubbock Christian University is a true honor. We are proud to support the students, faculty, and mission of LCU, and we remain committed to investing in the future of Lubbock through meaningful relationships like this one.”

The Community Partner Newcomer of the Year Award recognizes new participants who quickly embraced the values of the program. LCU welcomes Dave & Buster’s into its growing network of community partners and looks forward to the continued development of this dynamic relationship.

Keith Rogers, Dave & Buster’s General Manager, responded, “We’re beyond thrilled to be named Community Partner Newcomer of the Year. It’s an incredible honor and we’re so proud to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming community. From the moment we opened our doors, the support we’ve received has been amazing and we’ve loved every opportunity to give back and get involved. Donna Hamil, LCU Director of Stewardship, oversees the Community Partners program. She shared, “Our award recipients are tremendous examples of interaction and involvement with our LCU Chap Family. Their presence on campus shows a great business model to our students of how to support the area in which you live.”
