Lubbock Christian University Chaps's Heartland Conference doubleheader Saturday, Jan. 16 at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith (UAFS) against the Lions has been selected by American Sports Network for national television distribution.
American Sports Network has selected the LCU at UAFS men's and women's basketball contests as part of the network's Division II National Showcase and a partnership with the NCAA. Since the games have been picked up for national viewing, the original game times have changed from 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (women) and 7 p.m. (men).
The games will air locally in Lubbock on Fox 34 News Now, which televises LCU's weeknight home games. ASN is distributing the game to Sinclair Broadcast affiliates and regional sports carriers, and the games will also air online free through NCAA.com and the NCAA Sports Mobile App. Links and a channel guide for Fox 34 News Now will be posted on the <link http: lcuchaps.com>LCU athletics website.
