Lubbock Christian University students Victoria San Miguel, junior, majoring in Psychology from Odessa, TX and Martin Diaz, freshman, majoring in Business Administration from Fort Worth, TX, have been selected to receive a UPS Scholarship provided by the ICUT Foundation and its national partner, the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC). “It was an honor to receive this scholarship,” said San Miguel. “It just brings me one step closer to achieving my goals here at LCU and my goals for the future.” At the national level, CIC teams up with the UPS Foundation to distribute findings of the UPS Scholarship. Through this program this year, the ICUT Foundation awarded $170,250 in UPS Scholarships to 39 deserving students at private institutions across Texas.
