Annual Stephenson Alumni Retreat

Who:

Anyone who graduated with an undergraduate degree from the LCU Bible Department. Priority will be given to first-time attendees, those within 7 years of graduation, and those who are engaged in full-time ministry. With these criteria in view, we will accept the first 20 applicants.

Why:

• Support for our alumni who are in the early years of ministry
• Space to discuss challenges in ministry
• Reconnect and strengthen relationships with peers and professors/mentors
• Rest
• Renew a sense of calling to ministry

When:  October 5-7, 2023— participants will need to arrive by 2:00 p.m. Thursday, and the retreat will conclude by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Where: Covered S Ranch (right off of HWY 84 between Post and Snyder, Tx.)

What to Bring: Bedding, towels, etc. are provided. Feel free to bring anything you would like to do during free time. Snacks are provided, but feel free to bring your own as well. Given the time of year we will be there, you might come prepared for warm days and cool evenings (there is an outdoor firepit we hope to use in the evenings).

Sleeping arrangements: Most beds are housed within two bunkhouses (a male wing and a female wing). The bunk beds are all double beds and no one will have to share a bed.

Food: All meals will be provided by the ranch hosts. We will provide a variety of snacks and drinks, though you may certainly bring your own.

Cost: all costs are covered except your travel to and from the retreat
