Annual Stephenson Alumni Retreat

Who:

Anyone who graduated with a degree from the LCU College of Biblical Studies. Priority will be given to first-time attendees, those within 7 years of graduation, and those who are engaged in full-time ministry (broadly conceived). With these criteria in view, we will accept the first 20 applicants. So please sign-up even if you don’t meet all of these criteria!

Why:

• Support for our beloved alumni serving in a wide range of ministries
• Space to discuss challenges in ministry
• Reconnect and strengthen relationships with peers and professors/mentors
• Rest
• Renew a sense of calling to ministry

When:  October 9-11, 2025— participants will need to arrive by 2:00 p.m. Thursday, and the retreat will conclude by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. If you want to arrive by 9:00 a.m. on Thursday to play a round of golf at a nearby golf course (green fees and lunch provided), please indicate that in the sign-up below.

Where: The Way Retreat Center (Midland, TX)

What to Bring: Bedding, towels, etc. are provided. Bring a Bible and anything you would like to do during free time (games, books, etc.).

Sleeping arrangements: Rooms are two per room, and each room has a private bathroom/shower.

Food: All meals will be provided by an on-site chef at the retreat center. Tea, Water, Lemonade, and Coffee will be provided throughout. Feel free to bring any other snacks or drinks you would like to have.

Cost: All costs are covered except your travel to and from the retreat
