What comes to mind when you think of the word “family?” Families you belong to may include a biological family or extended family. You also might think of your church family or work colleagues who are like family. Whether you experienced Lubbock Christian College in the earlier years from 1957 to 1986 or LCU in later years from 1987 to 2024 – you belong to the Chap Family. 

Consider how different your life would be had you not encountered the life-changing experience of being a part of the LCU Chap Family. Lives have been deepened through life-long friendships that were formed through LCU connections. Blessings were experienced as a special faculty member shared their wisdom and insights with you. School spirit was shared cheering on fellow students in their pursuit of athletic excellence. And whether you realize it or not, you were impacted by the generosity and service of those who provided scholarships, who gave to support academic programs, and who created buildings and outdoor spaces for student community. Whether you are currently engaged on the Lubbock Christian University campus, or it has been a while, you are a valued member of our Chap family. We hope you will remember your life- changing experiences, and we hope you will reconnect and rekindle relationships with old friends. Our campus is more beautiful than ever, and the university is thriving. Come visit the campus. Refresh your memories and make new ones!
