Brandon Rix, P.T., D.P.T.

Assistant Professor of Exercise and Sport Sciences

Brandon Rix joined Lubbock Christian University as a faculty member in the Exercise and Sports Sciences Department in Fall 2023. After a three-year stint playing baseball at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas, he graduated from LCU in 2017 with a B.A. in Exercise and Sports Sciences with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. He was also a member of LCU’s 2016 and 2017 baseball teams. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2021.

Brandon practiced outpatient orthopedic physical therapy at UMC Team Rehab Center and currently practices with McCombs and Associates Physical Therapy. His faith in Jesus is central to who he is, and he is passionate about serving both patients and students with excellence and compassion.

He and his wife, Natalie, married in 2020 and have two children, Ellie and Barrett.
