Dr. Caren Fullerton has been with LCU since 2004. Prior to coming to LCU, she worked in the commercial banking industry for 8 years supporting a diverse set of customers from a large supermarket chain, a significant hospital entity, and an oil company headquartered in Australia with a refinery off the coast of Papua, New Guinea. While with the bank, she was the recipient of many sales awards earning multiple all expense paid trips to hot spots like Las Vegas, Nevada and Orlando, FL. She also worked in the bank's accounting area compiling and publishing required governmental reports.
Dr. Fullerton holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University with a minor in Management. Dr. Fullerton successfully defended her dissertation entitled, "A Simulation Analysis of Cotton Gin Financial Viability Under Risk" in December of 2009.
She and her husband, John, a realtor and a retired high school teacher, have two children. They are members at Sunset Church of Christ. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and reading.
