Delia O'Steen

Delia was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She moved to Lubbock in 1999 to attend LCU and has called West Texas home ever since (making her Allergist her best friend). In 2002, she graduated from LCU with a Business Communication degree and went on to earn her MA in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University. She taught as an adjunct instructor at LCU from 2004-2014 and served as an Admissions Counselor from 2004-2006. Delia taught at Texas Tech for 18 years as a Professor of Practice in the College of Media and Communication. She spent 6 years as a workplace culture strategist from 2017-2021 and became an administrator at Kingdom Preparatory Academy in 2022. Delia came back to teach at LCU in 2024. Her sister K-Dee (LCU '04) works in the LCU Library! Delia is married to Salem (LCU '05) and has two children named Mabry and Declan. Her family is completed by two fuzzy dogs named Auggie and Arlo.
