Biography

Dr. Reding serves transfer students and veterans. 

Dr. Reding earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Educational Studies with a specialization in Higher Education and Leadership. Research interests include leadership, women in leadership, and developing effective pathways for community college transfers, specifically first generation and non-documented students. Dr. Reding has served as the Director of Transfer Admissions since 2014. Prior to working at LCU, Dr. Reding served as the Director of Student Life at South Plains College and worked at a variety of institutions throughout the United States in collegiate athletics. Dr. Reding re-located to the South Plains area to be with her husband Roger, a former Texas Tech Lady Raider assistant basketball coach, and current Athletic Director at South Plains College.
