Originally from Colorado, Michelle has called several states home before moving to Lubbock in 2020. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science from Colorado State in ‘03. She eventually landed in the Pacific Northwest, where she was a high school Biology teacher, a small business owner as a Certified Riding Instructor, and taught Equine Physiology. 17 years after earning her Bachelor’s Michelle chased down her Master’s in Animal Science from Texas Tech University.
She is married to Josh, who is an accounting professor, and is the mom to 3 amazing kids, Kaiyen, Isaac, and Maycen. In her free time, she enjoys building furniture, trail riding, hiking, and traveling around Europe with her husband.
