Join us for this special event featuring Maestro David Cho, Music Director for the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra! Get a glimpse of the Music Director's roots and enjoy a Q&A as Maestro Cho shares about his journey from South Korea to Lubbock, and learn how music brought him to West Texas.

Maestro David Cho

David Cho was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. David immigrated to the United States in 1985, and he attended Rice University where he studied orchestral conducting. David has guest conducted the National Symphony and the Vienna Philharmonic and made Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center Debuts in 2004. After guest conducting the Lubbock Symphony in 2007 and 2009, David became the Symphony's seventh music Director. He has made Lubbock his home and is deeply involved in community outreach.
