When do I need to arrive for graduation?

For undergraduate students, rehearsal will begin at 8:45 a.m. on the morning of Graduation, in the Rip Griffin Center. For graduate students, there is no rehearsal; you will need to arrive at the lobby of the American Heritage building at 7 p.m. on the night of graduation.

What do escorts wear?

All escorts wear a white gown, no cap.

Do I have to have an escort?

Yes, all Undergraduates must have an escort. Graduate level graduates do not.

Who can be my escort?

Anyone you choose; however, bear in mind that escorts must be over 13 years of age.

Can my son/daughter escort me?

Yes, we have children's sizes available in our escort gowns, but bear in mind that escorts must be over 13 years of age.

Do I need a plus size?

Where will I pick up my regalia (graduation gown, cap, etc.)?

At the Chap Store 1-2 weeks prior to graduation.

When will my regalia be ready?

You will be notified through All Student Emails and Announcements when you may pick up your regalia. It is usually 1-2 weeks before the ceremony.

Is there a graduation fee?

For undergraduates, the fee is $150, and for graduate students, the fee is $175. There is an additional $50 fee for late applications.

Who orders cords for Who's Who?

That is your responsibility.

How do I become part of the Alumni Connection?

Graduates are inducted into the LCU alumni community, which is called the LCU Alumni Connection, prior to dismissal from the graduation ceremony. Membership is free and all members of the alumni community are encouraged to: Be Connected. Be Engaged. Be Informed. Be Involved. Be Welcomed. Be Blue.
