We are thrilled to announce the construction of a much-needed Agricultural Center dedicated to animal science education at LCU. This facility will serve as a hub for students, educators, and researchers, fostering hands-on learning experiences and cutting-edge research in the field of animal science. Included in the pavilion will be a new classroom that can be utilized by students and the famous LCU Aggie Club, an Ecology and Conservation room to store and maintain our state-of-the-art electrofishing boat, and a training room for our professional students to master communication skills.

Our faculty and students will continue research in genetics, water quality, animal science and plant and soil science within the Agricultural Center that will drive innovation and address critical challenges facing the agricultural industry.

The Agriculture Center will feature an indoor/outdoor pavilion useful for live animal education, demonstrations, and teaching as well as a flexible laboratory classroom, a mock exam room to practice communication skills, and on-sight storage for teaching samples and models.

The Agricultural Center will host workshops, seminars, and outreach programs for the community as well as new and updated space for the LCU Ag Club, known for their service and BBQ skills.
