What is Go?

GO (Get Oriented) is all about starting from scratch! It is designed to build relationships and to introduce you to campus life at LCU before your classes begin. We want you to feel at home, so we've created an orientation program just for first year students presented by upperclassmen, faculty and staff. During this time, you'll get the chance to meet new peopleā€¦ the same faces you'll sit beside at graduation and remember the rest of your lives. Plus, you will get a taste of what LCU campus life is all about! For students who participate in GO, move in day is August 20th. GO is definitely something you don't want to miss!

Thursday, August 20
5:30 PM- Dinner (all freshmen and their families are invited to a campus wide dinner)
6:30 PM- Official Welcome in the McDonald Moody Auditorium
7:00 PM- Parent Dessert in the Welcome Center

Friday, August 21 (for PARENTS ONLY in the Carwell Welcome Center)
8:00am - Breakfast
8:30am - LCU 2020 Vision
9:00am - Academic and Spiritual Formation Panel
9:45am - Break
10:00am - Prayer Walk
11:00am - Student Life and Character Formation Panel
11:45am - Charging of Chap Nation

For Parents

Congratulations on this exciting time of life! All parents are invited to attend a free dinner at 5:30pm. Following the dinner, President Tim Perrin will welcome you to Lubbock Christian University. Parent Orientation will take place Friday morning from 8am-12pm in the Welcome Center.
