Thousands of students have walked the LCU campus and across a stage in royal blue robes to receive the culmination of their university education. However, a diploma is not the only thing a student takes with them after four years at Lubbock Christian University.
LCU provides every student the opportunity for an academically vibrant experience within a nurturing Christian community so that they can live with purpose and service in His kingdom.
As you reflect on your accomplishments and blessings over the last year, remember the students at LCU and that THE BEST INVESTMENTS YIELD ETERNAL REWARDS.
Being on scholarship definitely takes the burden off of me figuring out how I can go to school. Thank you, not only for the great education with amazing professors, but for the opportunity to meet lifelong friends who will be there for the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in life.
I have been exposed to so many elements of faith at LCU and it has deepened my relationship with God and His Word. When I think of scholarships, I think of support and the people behind these gifts that are making a long-term impact on my life.
As a biochemistry major, I want to go into the medical field and be God’s hands and feet in the world. I have seen and felt God in my life through the people and relationships at LCU. To all the donors, I want to say thank you for helping me further my goals for the future.
Scholarships have allowed me to focus on enhancing my leadership skills and not have to worry about how I will afford college. I want to say thank you, which doesn’t even seem to express the amount of appreciation I have to those who have invested in me.
In my classes, yes, we talk accounting, yes, we talk business, but more than that, we talk about how to be a Christian and a good leader in business. People at LCU actually care about where you are in your faith.
I see God in the relationships at LCU. Going to class, it is such a joy to see my professors and openly talk to them about my life. I always wondered how I was going to pay for college but through scholarships I am able to get a college education.
I just remember coming on a visit to LCU and knowing that this was the place for me. I feel God moving here every single day. God brings people to places for a reason and I believe He brought me here for a reason.
Thanks to scholarships, I will be able to get my masters degree and then go on to get my CPA license. To those of you who have donated to LCU, thank you for believing in what LCU is doing. God has worked in my life in so many ways at LCU.
Gullo Hall is the newest construction on campus. The new residence hall will be home to over 170 students each semester. Students will move into Gullo Hall in January 2024. With your support of a monthly recurring gift, a year end gift of over $100 or more, or membership in the LCU President’s Circle, you will receive a 2023 LCU commemorative Christmas ornament of Gullo Hall.
