I came to LCU as a non-traditional student in the Fall of 2010 and have made it my home ever since. I am a member of the Associates of LCU helping to raise funds for the university. I have enjoyed being able to combine my library skills and theological training to help LCU students with their research. I also help to provide resources to the Teacher Training Class as South Plains Church of Christ where I have been a member since 2007. I am an active member of the Single Mom’s ministry there and have participated in mission trips to Tuscaloosa, AL; Tuba City, AZ; and Jinotega, Nicaragua. I also work with Higher Ground Ministries out of Alto, NM.
I participated in a tour of the Holy Land in 2018 and a six-week archaeological expedition in Khirbat Iskandar in 2019, both with Drs. Jesse and JoAnne Long.
I am the liaison for the Bible Department.
Professional memberships include Texas Library Association, American Theological Library Association, and Christian College Librarians.
