Walk with Us

Come Walk with Us

At Lubbock Christian University, we believe in more than providing an education. We believe in walking with our students—side by side—as they discover who they are in Christ and who He is calling them to become. Every day, professors pray with and for students. Mentors guide conversations not just about careers, but about calling. Staff members show up with open doors, listening ears, and hearts full of Christ’s compassion. Whether in the classroom, on campus, or through service and ministry opportunities, we are walking with our students—helping them grow in wisdom, faith, and purpose. This is our mission and promise.

And we invite you to walk with us.

Every gift you give is a lifelong investment in a student’s future—and lives are changed forever. Thank you for walking with us in our mission to transform the hearts, minds, and hands of students, for lives of purpose and service.

“LCU is more than a holistic, higher educational institution; it is a personal and intentional community that truly embodies its brand promise: to walk with you. LCU has provided me with numerous opportunities to grow professionally, personally, and spiritually through its unique courses and programs. They offer practical and wisdom-filled experiences in the classroom and across the world. In all my four years of attending LCU, words fall short in expressing the love and appreciation I have for this university and the life-long relationships with which I have been blessed."

“I love LCU because it has the most welcoming, Christ-centered environment and education. The community and culture are like none other. From my classmates to my professors to all the administrators— I always get to see God working in other people’s lives. LCU is a place where I can chase after God with people encouraging me every step of the way. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a student at this amazing university.”

“LCU is special to me because it feels like home. From the start, I felt welcomed and truly part of a family. As a Hispanic student, things can be difficult sometimes, but LCU has always been there to support and guide me. I come from a tiny town where my graduating class was just six people, so coming here was a big change. What made LCU stand out from other colleges is that I felt seen, heard and valued, and that's why LCU means so much to me!”

“The greatest part of my LCU experience has been the authentic and intentional community I have experienced. From the first day I stepped on campus, I knew there were people I could go to for support, encouragement, and love whenever I needed it. Whether it was my orientation leaders, RAs, professors, or the kind folks at the counseling center, I am acutely aware that prayer and guidance is always available. To me ‘We Walk with You’ is not only a slogan but a promise that is delivered every day and I am so thankful to experience it so deeply.”

“Getting to walk with students is our calling, but it is also our great privilege and delight. They become part of our very hearts, our stories.

And so we are here for them—anytime and always.

We challenge and push them, that they may grow stronger.

We support them when they are unsteady or unsure.

We cheer for them.

We listen to them.

We mentor them.

We cry with them.

We pray with them.

We pray for them.

We believe in them.

We know them.

We love them.”
