Lubbock Christian University hosted a Women in Leadership conference on April 25 featuring four prestigious speakers:

  • Katherine Lee, CEO of Pure Hope Foundation and featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show,
  • Wendy Davidson, President of U.S. Specialty Channels for Kellogg North America and responsible for leading the $1.5 billion business in numerous distribution channels for Kellogg’s, and
  • Elise Mitchell, CEO of Mitchell Communication and Dentsu Aegis PR Network and accomplished strategic communications professional and business leader with a social media reach of 18 million.

“LCU is excited to bring women in leadership roles together to discuss ways their Christian faith influences how they lead. Our hope is to offer proven corporate leadership training to the Lubbock community from internationally known speakers,” said Dr. Kathy Crockett, event coordinator and program coordinator, MS in Leadership.

The cost of the conference was $75 and centered around women in the South Plains area who are leading in their organizations or who aspire to be leaders.
