An epic annual tradition at LCU Homecoming, Master Follies features musical performances by hosts and hostesses, as well as choreographed theatrical follies by the university social clubs.
Follies this year, sponsored by Anderson Bros. Jewelers, was performed three times over Feb. 3 and 4 with an awards ceremony following the Saturday night show.
Master Follies is extremely popular with alumni and students every year. The Saturday night performance and awards ceremony sold out soon after tickets went on sale.
Each social club performs six-minute follies, including song, dance, and plot revolving around their chosen theme. Audiences vote for their favorite show for the People’s Choice award while judges select winners based on a number of criteria.
