Refresh Women's Workshop Provides Spiritual Nourishment for Women in Ministry

One Saturday, Feb. 25, LCU hosted "Refresh: A Day of Nourishment for Women Who Minister" as a one-day workshop for renewal, encouragement, and inspiration for those working in ministry.

"Whether you are mentoring or discipling behind the scenes, teaching Bible classes, leading ministries, or serving your church in a variety of other ways, you are serving in God's Kingdom," Refresh promotions explained. "All of these roles are vital to the church, and [one's] ability to serve is directly impacted not only by how well [they] are equipped, but also how fresh [their] attitude is."

Geared toward women who volunteer in or are part of vocational ministry, the conference aimed to equip and refresh women in in the field of spiritual service through worship, spiritual discipline, and prayer.

The day was led by Rhesa Higgins, the director of Eleven:28 Ministries and a certified spiritual director.
