Student Health Office
The Fall semester will see some changes to health care on campus at LCU, as there will no longer be a physician available. Dr. Jeff Smith is concluding his 17th year as campus physician at the end of June 2022. Beginning in August 2022, the LCU Medical Clinic is transitioning to become the Student Health Office, where Darla Stewart, RN, will continue to serve as campus nurse. If you have been a patient of Dr. Smith’s at the LCU Medical Clinic, please review his letter to patients (sent by email on 5/18/22), and feel free to call our office with any questions at 806-720-7482. The Medical Record Request/Release Authorization Form is also available.

The Student Health Office is staffed with a registered nurse who is available for nursing assessment and treatment, health education, and facilitating connections to local physicians when indicated.
The Student Health Office is conveniently located on the second floor of the Student Union Building on campus. This is free to the students and provides a welcoming and informative environment for our student body at LCU.
Office hours are from 8-5, Monday through Thursday and from 8-noon on Fridays each Fall and Spring semester.
