LCU’s West Texas Promise is our promise to first time beginning freshmen that they will receive a minimum of $28,000 over four years and potentially up to $40,000 over four years. The West Texas Promise award amount is determined by high school GPA. Eligible students must apply and be accepted for admission. Students who submit a completed FAFSA and any requested supporting documentation and enroll full-time are eligible for additional institutional scholarships. Scholarship Kickoff: An additional $1,000-$2,000 is possible through LCU’s Scholarship Kickoff in February. There is no GPA requirement to maintain this award which is in addition to West Texas Promise.
