- Lubbock Christian University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters and doctorate degrees. Lubbock Christian University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Students and prospective students are encouraged to discuss their concerns with appropriate university employees and make reasonable efforts to resolve their concerns informally. Disclosures for State Authorization
Lubbock Christian University is authorized to operate as an institution of higher education in Texas.
State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) is an agreement among member states that establish national standards for interstate offering of post-secondary distance education courses and programs. - Title IV Status Disclosure: Lubbock Christian University Title IV Status Disclosures Lubbock Christian University completed reauthorization by the Department of Education September 28, 2022, submitting its Eligibility and Certification Approval Report. The Title IV Eligibility Certificate Approval Report and the Program Participation Agreement, signed on behalf of the Secretary of Education, acknowledges that the university is qualified to participate in nine Title IV and Higher Education Authorization Act (HEA) programs until June 30, 2028. The university is not under any limitations, suspensions, or terminations by the U.S. Department of Education, nor is it on reimbursement or any other exceptional status.
Disclosure of Requirements for Passing a Criminal Background Check
Several academic programs prepare students to seek certification or licensing. Students entering a program to prepare for licensing or certification should be aware that a licensing or certification authority may require a criminal background check, and may consider individuals with convictions or deferred adjudication for a felony or misdemeanor offense to be ineligible. Students with a concern have the right to request that the licensing authority issue a criminal history evaluation letter regarding their eligibility. Graduation and Retention Rates
First-time full-time retention and graduation rates are provided for each beginning freshman cohort. Institutions must track enrollment and graduation for each first-time full-time freshman for six years. Only students persisting and completing a baccalaureate degree at Lubbock Christian University are counted as completions. Students that do not complete degrees at Lubbock Christian University appear to be attrition statistics, but may have completed pre-professional prerequisites or transferred to another institution to continue their education.

Student Success Indicators:
The indicators of student success we assess to evaluate student achievement and identify areas for improvement are based on the Mission of LCU, our identity and values as a Christ-centered institution, the goals the 2027 Platinum Plan, a strategic vision for LCU, and the LCU promise to students, that We Walk with You.
Student Achievement Indicators:
- First-year retention rates for beginning, first-time-in-college students
- Six-year graduation rates (as reported to IPEDS)*
- First Destination Outcomes (knowledge and placement rates for graduates within 6 months ofgraduation)
To assess and improve student success, we identified these measures of student achievement. We collect data annually to review outcomes in each of these areas. Analysis of these results helps us identify opportunities for improvement and develop initiatives to promote and support student success.

LCU has established articulation agreements with South Plains College, Levelland, Texas and Covenant School of Nursing, Lubbock, Texas.
Veterans and Military Servicemembers
Lubbock Christian University does not, and has never, conducted fraudulent or aggressive recruiting on or off military installations or in any other venue, nor do we misrepresent ourselves, our programs, or our mission. Additionally, we do not pay incentive compensation to anyone for recruiting actions in compliance with section 487 (a)(20) of the Higher Education Act (HEA) which prohibits the University from providing incentive compensation to employees or third-party entities for their success in securing student enrollments or the awarding of Title IV Higher Education Act program funds.
Veteran admission files must be complete and academic plans approved by an Educational Services Officer or counselor within the Military Services before enrolling at LCU. Complete veteran admission files must contain complete admissions documentation, an official military educational transcript, a copy of the DD Form 214, and a copy of the VA certificate of eligibility

Readmission: Military servicemembers and veterans who withdraw from the University for service in the Armed Forces, including National Guard and Reserves, are eligible for readmission to the same program or course of study if the circumstances of withdrawal meet the readmission requirements for servicemembers outlined in 34 C.F.R. 668.18
